QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer you ensure the development and implementation of the test policy, you monitor this policy, you coordinate testing and you ensure that the tests are carried out, both technically and functionally. 

Responsibilities

  • Developing a sustainable test vision and drawing up the test policy. 

  • Ensure that the test policy is implemented and secured in the organization and monitor the test quality.

  • Translate business risks and business objectives into test plans, test scenarios and basic test scripts. 

  • Identify bottlenecks in the test process, propose solutions and ensure that these solutions are implemented. 

  • Execute test scripts within schedule and budget and, if necessary, coordinate the execution.

  • Analyze the test results and discuss the impact with relevant stakeholders.

  • Advising the business by providing an estimate of the test work to be performed and coordinating this estimate with various colleagues.

What do you take with you as a successful QA Engineer?

  • A relevant HBO/WO education in the direction of IT.

  • Preferably you are TMap or ISTQB certified

  • Extensive experience in software testing and test automation.

  • Knowledge and interest in quality management.

  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing, Papiamentu is an advantage.
